4. User Content

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

  • On behalf of another person; you must only use the Service for your own personal use
  • To upload any content other than resumes and job descriptions; the Service is strictly limited to resume and cover letter creation based on job descriptions
  • To engage in abusive levels of transactions or usage that may overburden our system or disrupt service for other users

6. User Content and Uploads

6.1. You retain all rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through the Service ("User Content"), including your resume information and cover letters.

6.2. By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such User Content on and through the Service for the purpose of providing our resume and cover letter services.

6.3. You are only permitted to upload content directly related to resume creation and job applications, specifically:

  • Resume information
  • Cover letter content
  • Job descriptions for which you are tailoring your resume or cover letter

6.4. Any attempt to upload content outside of these categories may result in the content being rejected or your account being suspended or terminated.

7. Fair Usage and Transaction Limits

7.1. Speed Resume reserves the right to monitor the volume and frequency of your transactions and overall usage of the Service.

7.2. We may, at our sole discretion, impose limits on the number of resumes, cover letters, or other transactions you can perform within a given time period.

7.3. If we determine that your usage constitutes an abusive level of transactions, we may:

  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Limit your access to certain features of the Service
  • Terminate your account in cases of repeated abuse

7.4. What constitutes an "abusive level of transactions" will be determined by Speed Resume based on factors including, but not limited to:

  • The number of resumes or cover letters created in a short period
  • The frequency of edits or updates to existing documents
  • Any automated or bot-like behavior

7.5. If you have legitimate high-volume needs, please contact our customer support to discuss special arrangements or enterprise-level services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Speed Resume and its licensors. This includes any proprietary resume templates, writing guides, or other tools provided as part of our service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Speed Resume, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. This includes any outcomes related to the use of resumes or cover letters created or modified using our Service.
